The system is a highly customised version of Umbraco that runs alongside Microsoft Entra ID, (an integrated cloud identity and access software) which is fully managed directory of all Motability employees.

Alongside a visual refresh of their employee brand, colours, some of the features developed, customised and launched were: 

Organisation chart
A new chart that allows users to browse the structure of and people within of the charity. Users can also find colleagues with specific skills and knowledge.

Search improvements
Site wide content included within the search – so users can search for their colleagues inclusive of all abbreviated terms.

Department specific content
Specific content only presented to users of  specific departments.

Umbraco forms
Customised forms facilitating the move from paper and digitising the process of employees filling out a miriad of forms and submitting data

Social expansion
Embracing interaction and enabling all employees to feel part of the business by allowing users to “like” and “comment” on content, blog posts and News.
